About the Company

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced ACA/ACCA qualified Outsourcing Managers to join our dynamic accountancy practice in Ascot.

As an Outsourcing Client Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our clients' accounting functions, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations. You will be responsible for delivering top-quality accounting services to our clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and leading a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities 


Responsible for a portfolio of clients.
Manage client expectations, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the services provided.
Preparation of management accounts with complex reporting requirements and hard deadlines.
Conduct financial analysis and interpret financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations for clients to optimise their financial performance.
Using a variety of accounting software packages (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)Work may be undertaken at our offices in Ascot, or at client premises for a range of SME clients, including both local and international clients.
Cash management and preparation of cash flows, liaison with banks
Preparation of budgets
Preparation of VAT returns and VAT Advice
Liaison with payroll department regarding wages, pensions and deductions
Employee matters – pensions, insurance, medical
Liaising with external auditors and general practice department
Managing day to day client liaison and parent company liaison
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients and the team.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive working environment.
Review the work of less senior team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans to enhance the team's skills and expertise.

Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the outsourcing team.
Implement best practices and accounting tools to streamline operations and deliver high- quality services.

Collaborative Approach:
Collaborate with other departments within the firm, such as tax, audit, and advisory, to deliver comprehensive financial services to clients.
Liaising with auditors


Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • ACCA/ACA or QBE with some practice/bureau experience required.

  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, with a focus on managing accounting functions for multiple clients.

  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office packages with advanced Excel skills and experience Comprehensive bookkeeping and management accounts experience including inter- company and foreign currency.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • of accountants effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining positive client relationships.


Desirable

  • Currently in a UK based accountancy practice in an accounts/outsourcing focused role. Leadership experience

  • Cash Management, Cash Flow and Budgets Payroll and Pension experience

  • Familiar with working with a varied client base.

  • Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).

  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
